TriShield™ Technology
Heritage shingles are built with TAMKO’s proprietary TriShield™ technology — a three-part system that enhances durability through advanced asphalt formulation, premium fiberglass mat, and strong granule adhesion. The three layers work together: granules hold firm, sealant grips strong, and laminant maintains integrity.
Class A Fire Rating
Heritage shingles carry the highest fire resistance rating available (UL 790 / ASTM E108). This classification means the shingles are effective against severe fire exposure, providing an important layer of protection for your home.
Wind Resistance
Engineered to withstand wind speeds up to 130 MPH when properly installed with TAMKO’s recommended nailing pattern and sealant activation. Heritage shingles use an asphalt-based sealant strip that bonds the shingle layers together, helping to prevent wind uplift and blow-off.
